In a shocking display of ballistic missile escalation, India fired four Prithvi missiles on 7 May 2025. The attack followed a baseless claim of a terrorist camp. Pakistan was falsely blamed for hosting the alleged site. The missiles targeted Lahore and other Pakistani cities. One missile reportedly landed near Kharian.
Three of the missiles, however, did not hit Pakistani soil. Instead, they fell in Amritsar, the capital of Indian Punjab. This wasn’t a mistake. It appears to be a calculated move. The Indian leadership seems to have planted these missiles there deliberately. Their goal? To spark internal unrest and communal hatred within their own territory. They aimed to blame Pakistan and provoke the Sikh community.
This dangerous strategy reflects a broader pattern. India’s ruling party, driven by a Hindutva agenda, often fuels divisions for political gain. Their reckless missile provocation fits this disturbing trend. They continue to create fear and chaos at the cost of regional peace.
Pakistan has strongly denied any involvement in actions that threaten Indian civilians. Especially the Sikh population. Pakistan values its historical and religious ties with the Sikh community. It respects those bonds deeply. Unlike India’s divisive politics, Pakistan believes in harmony and coexistence.
Despite repeated threats, Pakistan has shown remarkable restraint. It has not responded with aggression. Instead, it has acted in self-defence only. All its steps have followed international law and the UN Charter. This shows maturity and a strong commitment to peace.
India’s military aggression raises global concerns. Such missile intensification puts millions at risk. The region cannot afford such dangerous games.
