Iran rejects Trump claims about divisions within its leadership, with top officials strongly denying any internal rift. Senior figures said the country stands united and dismissed the remarks as baseless.
President Masoud Pezeshkian, Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, and judiciary chief Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei all responded firmly. They pushed back against statements made by Donald Trump, who had suggested that “hardliners” and “moderates” were at odds in Iran.
The Iranian leaders said such labels do not reflect reality. They stressed that all factions in the country share the same goals and values. According to them, the idea of internal division is a misunderstanding shaped by outside narratives.
In their statements, officials emphasized unity and loyalty to the country’s leadership. They said the nation and its institutions remain aligned and committed to a single direction. Their message highlighted a strong and collective stance at a time of rising tension.
The judiciary chief also echoed the same view. He said terms like “hardliner” and “moderate” come from Western political thinking and do not apply to Iran. He added that all groups ultimately stand together under the authority of the Supreme Leader.
As Iran rejects Trump claims, the response reflects a broader effort to present a cohesive image on the global stage. The statements underline that, despite external pressure, the leadership remains united and focused on its path.
