Journalist Nasrullah Gadani, who sustained injuries in an assassination attempt in Ghotki, has tragically passed away during treatment.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah expressed profound sorrow and offered condolences to the family and colleagues of Nasrullah from Mirpur Mathilo. He stated, “We stand with Nasrullah’s family and his organization in their time of grief.”
Despite the efforts of the Sindh government to save Nasrullah’s life, it was ultimately beyond human intervention, as fate would have it.
Nasrullah Gadani was wounded in an attack four days prior in Ghotki and was subsequently transferred to Sheikh Zayed Hospital Rahim Yar Khan after sustaining three bullet wounds.
The journalist community mourns deeply, and their sorrow is palpable. The public, visibly upset, staged a protest by blocking the National Highway in front of the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) office, causing significant traffic congestion and expressing their grievances with passionate slogans against the police.
