A special gathering was held in the Bara area of Khyber District, where senior military officials met with local elders and youth to discuss peace and development. The session was arranged by the North Frontier Corps.
Lieutenant General Omar Ahmad Bukhari, Corps Commander Peshawar, led the event. He held open discussions with tribal elders and youth from various parts of Khyber District. Major General Anjum Riaz, IG FC North, was also present. The Deputy Commissioner of Bara and the DPO of Khyber District joined the session as well.
The event drew a large turnout. People from multiple areas across Khyber District participated with great enthusiasm. The community praised the efforts of the Pakistan Army and other security forces. They appreciated their role in ensuring peace and stability in the region.
During the interaction, tribal elders stated their full support for the armed forces. They made it clear that the people of Khyber District stand united with the military in preserving peace. The Corps Commander paid tribute to the community. He said their sacrifices are recognised by the entire nation.
Lieutenant General Bukhari assured everyone that the military would continue working for peace and progress in tribal areas. Tribal elders and youth shared various ideas during the session. They suggested ways to improve both security and development in the district.
It was agreed that such meetings build stronger ties between local communities and the armed forces. The session ended with mutual appreciation and renewed commitment to collective progress in Khyber District.
