A security delegation from New Zealand is due to arrive in Pakistan in the first week of March to assess security preparations for the upcoming bilateral T20I series in March. The delegation will consist of representatives from the New Zealand Cricket Players Association as well as an independent security expert.
According to sources, these officials will thoroughly review security arrangements in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Lahore. This assessment is of utmost importance as New Zealand is scheduled to tour Pakistan in April for a five-match T20I series, with matches set to be held in Lahore and Rawalpindi stadiums.
The bilateral T20I series is expected to commence in the third week of April, with the first match scheduled for April 18.
