Pakistan Army has successfully carried out the test of the indigenously developed Fatah-4 ground-launched cruise missile, marking another milestone in the country’s defense capabilities. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the missile can accurately strike targets at a range of up to 750 kilometers, significantly boosting the operational strength of the Army Rocket Force Command.
Equipped with cutting-edge avionics and advanced navigational systems, the Fatah-4 features terrain-hugging technology that allows it to evade enemy missile defense systems while maintaining pinpoint accuracy against designated targets. Its inclusion will enhance the range, survivability, and precision of Pakistan’s conventional missile arsenal, further strengthening the country’s deterrence posture.
The successful test was witnessed by the Chief of General Staff, senior military officials, as well as the scientists and engineers who played a key role in designing and developing the missile. Their efforts reflect the growing self-reliance of Pakistan’s defense industry in producing sophisticated strategic systems.
President of Pakistan, the Prime Minister, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, and the Chiefs of the Army, Navy, and Air Force extended their congratulations to the officers, troops, scientists, and engineers involved in the successful trial. They praised the achievement as a testament to Pakistan’s commitment to ensuring national security and maintaining technological advancement in its defense sector.
The Fatah-4’s induction stands as a strong message that Pakistan remains fully prepared to defend its sovereignty, while its defense research and development capabilities continue to progress despite external challenges.
