RAWALPINDI: Security forces on Wednesday killed a terrorist in an intelligence-based operation in the Kulachi area of Dera Ismail Khan district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that the raid was conducted in response to reported terrorist presence. “Our troops effectively engaged the location, resulting in the elimination of terrorist Habib Ur Rehman,” said ISPR.
The ISPR statement further mentioned that Rehman was actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against security forces and innocent civilians in the region.
The operation also led to the recovery of weapons, ammunition, and explosives from the killed terrorist.
A sanitization operation is currently underway to eradicate any remaining terrorists in the area, reflecting the steadfast commitment of Pakistan’s Security Forces to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country.
