RAWALPINDI: Pakistan’s military successfully conducted a training launch of the Shaheen-II surface-to-surface ballistic missile on Tuesday, according to a statement from the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The launch aimed to train troops, test technical parameters, and evaluate sub-systems for improved accuracy and survivability. Senior officials, scientists, and engineers witnessed the test-firing.
The Director General of Strategic Plans Division praised the scientists’ technical expertise, dedication, and commitment to achieving this milestone. The President, Prime Minister, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, and services chiefs congratulated the teams involved on their success.
