After lunch, the batting pair continued to score steadily while protecting their wickets, with the score at 256-4. The previous day, Shakeel and Ayub played well, but Ayub was out in the 32nd over after making 56 runs. Shakeel stayed in with Rizwan, who was not out on 24 when play ended for the day for Bangladesh, Shoriful Islam and Hasan Mahmud each took two wickets. Now, with the score at 304-4 after 82 overs, Shakeel is unbeaten on 109 and Rizwan on 116. Pakistan will be looking to build on this strong partnership
