TURBAT: In Turbat, Balochistan, six workers lost their lives, and two were injured during an overnight attack by unidentified gunmen.
The victims, including two brothers, were asleep in a building under construction when the assailants struck.
The police, now investigating, have moved the deceased and wounded to the hospital. The deceased are Rizwan, Shehbaz, Waseem, Shafiq Ahmed, Mohammad Naeem, and Sikander. Ghulam Mustafa and Tauheed are among the injured.
Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar expressed condolences, condemning the “heinous act” and asserting the government’s commitment against terrorism.

Interim Chief Minister Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki also mourned the incident, urging a comprehensive report and directing all efforts to apprehend the attackers.
This follows a recent suicide attack in Mastung, Balochistan, where 60 people died during a procession for Eid Miladun Nabi.
