HUB: As many as three passengers were burnt to death 12 others wounded when a passenger coach caught fire in Hub area of Balochistan.
The passengers coach was traveling from Karachi to Quetta with 28 passengers on board.
The fire was brought under control, and the injured were shifted to DHQ Hospital in Hub. Rescue sources reported that the coach was completely destroyed in the blaze, and the cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
In a separate incident near Gadani Mor in Hub, at least three people were burned to death when a car collided with a motorcycle. The fire erupted after the collision, as the car was carrying Iranian petrol. The fire brigade extinguished the blaze, but both the vehicle and the motorcycle were badly burnt. The motorcyclist could not be identified, according to police sources, and rescue teams have shifted the bodies to the hospital.
Earlier, five individuals lost their lives and 17 others sustained injuries after a van returning from a marriage ceremony rammed into a tractor-trolley parked on the roadside. This incident occurred in Dunyapur, a tehsil of Punjab’s Lodhran District, where the passenger van, returning from Shujaabād, collided with the parked tractor-trolley.
