Nowshera: In a shocking incident that has left the community in disbelief. An Afghan husband allegedly murdered his Pakistani wife after she refused to accompany him to Afghanistan.
The grim discovery of the deceased woman’s body was made at their residence in, Mohalla Khan Khel.
The victim has been identified as Amina. The distressing incident was reported to the police by Amina’s mother, who disclosed that her daughter and son-in-law, Asif, were tenants.
According to the distraught mother, the tragic event unfolded when Amina resisted her husband’s insistence on relocating to Afghanistan.
The husband, identified as Asif, reportedly took a drastic step by shooting his wife dead.
Upon arriving at the Quarter, the grieving mother discovered the lifeless body of her daughter. In a further twist to the tragic tale, it was revealed that Asif had fled the scene, taking their five children with him.
Amina’s mother promptly reported the incident to the police, leading to the registration of a First Information Report (FIR) against the accused husband. The police have launched an investigation into the matter and are actively pursuing leads to apprehend Asif and bring him to justice.
