RAWALPINDI: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur met with former PTI chairman Imran Khan at Adiala Jail in a session lasting over 90 minutes. The meeting, held in the jail’s conference room, covered a range of topics including national politics, party strategies, and legal cases involving the party.
The meeting comes as PTI gears up for a major protest rally scheduled for Saturday, November 24. Sources indicate that plans for the rally, including logistical details and coordination, were a primary focus of the discussion.
CM Gandapur, who will lead the caravan from KP to Islamabad, has been actively organizing the protest. Meetings with PTI leaders and workers were held at CM House in Peshawar to finalize strategies for the event.
Family members of Imran Khan, including his wife, Bushra Bibi, and his sisters, Aleema and Uzma Khan, are reportedly contributing to the organization of the protest. PTI spokesperson Barrister Saif issued a strong warning to the government, cautioning against any attempts to obstruct the rally.
PTI plans to bring thousands of supporters to Islamabad for a sit-in, demanding Imran Khan’s release and the repeal of the 26th constitutional amendment. The rally is expected to be a show of strength amidst escalating political tensions.
