Iran fresh missile attacks have hit US and Israeli targets, marking a sharp escalation in the Middle East conflict. Iranian officials said over 40 missiles were launched, alongside strikes that destroyed 10 drones belonging to the two countries. The attacks reportedly targeted American bases in Kuwait and Bahrain, and key Israeli sites, in response to recent operations by the United States and Israel.
The Iranian military warned that any attempt to force regime change could prompt further strikes, including potential action against Israel’s nuclear facilities. Explosions were reported in Jerusalem following the missile launches, and alerts were triggered in multiple areas. Israel confirmed the missile fire but reported no immediate casualties, allowing residents to leave shelters after safety clearances.
Meanwhile, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for a drone strike targeting a military base south of Tel Aviv, aimed at an Iron Dome radar system. The ongoing escalation has led to widespread disruption in air travel across the region. Over 20,000 flights in eight countries have been canceled over the past five days, including 145 flights from Pakistan to Middle Eastern destinations.
Saudi forces also intercepted three cruise missiles near Al-Kharj city, preventing casualties due to their rapid response. Human rights organizations reported more than 1,000 civilians, including 181 children, have died in US and Israeli bombings of Iran since Saturday. Thousands more are injured, and additional deaths are under verification.
Iran fresh missile attacks highlight the growing volatility in the Middle East, with both military targets and civilian areas affected. Regional authorities continue to monitor the situation closely as tensions rise.
