PESHAWAR: Former chief minister and governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sardar Mehtab Khan Abbasi has decided to part ways with the Pakistan Muslim League-N.
As per sources, former governor Mehtab Abbasi has opted for a formal separation from the Muslim League-N to contest the upcoming elections independently from NA-16 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Mehtab Abbasi will participate as an independent candidate in the elections from NA-16 constituency, with the formal announcement of the “Azad Group’s” decision expected to take place during a press conference.
Former governor KP said that there are differences with Nawaz Sharif on principale but no differences with Maryam Nawaz. He said there should be democracy in political parties, hypocritical thinking and attitude have become important in PML-N.
He said that Nawaz Sharif has a weak team and solving the economic crisis is difficult. He said today PML-N is limited to Punjab.
