In the initial phase of the project, 1,892 plots have been allocated across 33 schemes in 22 districts. The initiative is structured to ensure fair and widespread distribution, benefiting deserving families across multiple regions.
A total of 68 plots will be distributed across five schemes in four districts of the Rawalpindi Division, while 288 plots will be allocated in four schemes across five districts of Faisalabad Division. In the Lahore Region, 518 plots will be given in five schemes across three districts. The Bhakkar Division will see 131 plots provided in seven schemes. In the Multan Region, 270 plots will be distributed across nine schemes in five districts, and the Bahawalpur Region will receive 27 plots across three schemes. Additionally, plots will be available in Hazro, Attock, Jhelum, Gujrat, and Mandi Bahauddin, ensuring a wide geographical range of beneficiaries.
Expressing her commitment to public welfare, CM Maryam Nawaz stated, “It is my dream that every citizen of Punjab has their own house.” She emphasized that providing shelter to the underprivileged is not merely an act of generosity but a fundamental responsibility of the government. By launching this scheme, the Punjab government is reaffirming its dedication to ensuring that every citizen, regardless of economic background, has access to basic housing.
This initiative reflects a broader vision of social equality and resource distribution, ensuring that the state prioritizes the needs of its most vulnerable citizens. With this groundbreaking move, Punjab is setting a precedent for welfare-driven governance, giving thousands of families hope for a secure and stable future.
