DI Khan: Security forces have killed four terrorists in intelligence based operation carried out in Dera Ismail Khan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces launched the operation based on intelligence reports of the presence of terrorists in the area. In the ensuing exchange of gunfire, four terrorists, including Mustafa, Qismatullah, and Islamuddin, were killed.
A significant quantity of arms, ammunition, and explosives was recovered from the terrorists by the security forces.
According to the military’s media wing, the terrorists were implicated in attacks against security personnel and the targeted killing of civilians, highlighting the necessity of the security forces’ proactive stance in combating terrorism and upholding peace in the region.
Local residents expressed gratitude for the prompt and efficient action taken by the security forces against the terrorists.
ISPR noted that efforts were ongoing to track down any remaining terrorists in the vicinity, with an operation launched for this purpose.
