LAHORE: Bangladesh Acquire Mushtaq Ahmed as Spin-Bowling Coach for Pakistan Test Series
Bangladesh has hired former Pakistan leg-spinner Mushtaq Ahmed as their spin-bowling coach for the upcoming two-match Test series against Pakistan. Mushtaq emphasized the importance of spinners in Test cricket, stating that they play a crucial role in supporting fast bowlers and winning matches.
Unlike Bangladesh, Pakistan has only one specialist spinner, Abrar Ahmed, in their squad and no spin-bowling coach in their support staff. Mushtaq suggested that Pakistan should utilize local spin experts like Saqlain Mushtaq, Abdul Rehman, and Saeed Ajmal to assist their spinner
