Tehran: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said that Muslims can defend one another if they stand united.
In his message on Eid ul Adha, the Iranian President said Muslim countries need to come closer and increase cooperation. He said unity is important to deal with common challenges and threats.
Call for Greater Cooperation Among Muslims
President Masoud Pezeshkian said Muslims should strengthen ties in all fields.
He added that Muslim countries must work together and face dangers collectively. According to him, unity and cooperation are necessary for the protection and progress of the Muslim world.
Economic War Is the Real Battle, Says Pezeshkian
The Iranian President said the real battle today is being fought in the field of economy.
He said the enemy has failed in military war and is now trying to create pressure through economic means.
Pezeshkian added that efforts are being made to worsen economic conditions.
Iran Rules Out Talks on Enriched Uranium
Separately, Deputy Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, Ali Bagheri, said Iran will not hold talks with the United States on enriched uranium.
He also said no agreement has been reached between Iran and the United States regarding the Strait of Hormuz.
Talks With Oman on Ship Movement
Ali Bagheri said Iran is holding talks with Oman regarding the movement of ships.
He added that the discussions are related to maritime traffic and regional coordination.
The statement comes at a time when regional tensions and economic pressure continue to shape Iran’s foreign policy position.
Iran Stresses Regional Coordination
Iranian officials have repeatedly emphasized regional cooperation and economic resilience.
President Pezeshkian’s Eid message also focused on unity, mutual support, and collective action among Muslim countries.
He said Muslim nations can face challenges more effectively if they work together.
