The KP government announces bounty on terrorists as part of efforts to improve security and eliminate militant networks operating in the province.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Home Department has released a fresh list of 15 highly wanted militants active in Dir and nearby areas and announced substantial cash rewards for information leading to their arrest.
According to an official statement, rewards ranging from Rs4 million to Rs12 million have been set for the wanted suspects to encourage public cooperation and help bring them to justice.
The list assigns rewards based on the severity of the suspects’ alleged crimes.
Officials said the highest bounty of Rs12 million has been placed on Khurshid, described as one of the most dangerous militants operating in the region.
Another wanted militant, Sher Amin, also known as Kaka, carries a reward of Rs10 million for information leading to his arrest.
Authorities have also announced rewards of Rs6 million each for Qari Ehsan and Sher Alam.
Meanwhile, bounties of Rs5 million each have been set for Sain Shah and Ejaz. Rewards of Rs4 million each have been announced for Kifayat, Hazrat Hussain and Sharifullah.
The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has urged citizens to assist law enforcement agencies by sharing information about the wanted militants.
CTD officials assured the public that the identity of anyone providing information would remain strictly confidential to ensure their safety.
