Addressing the media, Naqvi emphasized separating politics from sports, urging the ICC to maintain its credibility amidst ongoing challenges.
Highlighting Pakistan’s commitment to the tournament, he assured that preparations, including stadium upgrades, are progressing swiftly under his direct supervision.

“I personally visit Gaddafi Stadium weekly to monitor the work, and upgrades nationwide are nearing completion ahead of schedule,” he stated.
Naqvi reiterated his optimism for improved relations with India, emphasizing the significance of collective dedication to the sport.
