LONDON: Former prime minister and president of the PML-N Mian Shehbaz Sharif has rejected reports about change in date of Mian Nawaz Sharif’s return to Pakistan, saying that the PML-N chief would return to Pakistan on October 21.
He was talking to newsmen before his meeting with Nawaz Sharif. Shehbaz Sharif also rejected reports about his meeting at Gujranwala, saying that he returned to London on the directives of Mian Nawaz Sharif for consultation.
Meanwhile, addressing the PML-N meeting, Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif once again called for accountability of the former Army Chief General (R) Qamar Javed Bajwa, former ISI Director General Lieutenant General (R) Faiz Hamid, ex-chief justice Saqib Nisar, Asif Saeed Khosa, and Azmat Saeed.
Senator Ishaq Dar and Maryam Nawaz were also present at the meeting.
During the occasion, Nawaz Sharif mentioned that in 2017, a conspiracy was hatched to destroy Pakistan under the guise of political activities. He further asserted that militant groups were empowered and allowed to operate in Pakistan.
He expressed that until all those involved in this conspiracy are held accountable, Pakistan cannot move forward.
Nawaz Sharif emphasized that former Army Chief General (R) Qamar Bajwa, Faiz Hamid, Saqib Nisar, Asif Saeed Khosa, and Azmat Saeed are criminals against Pakistan and its 220 million people.
